An Introduction to safe practice of TeleMedicine

Telemedicine will continue to grow and be adopted by more healthcare practitioners and patients in a wide variety of forms not just in the traditional clinical environments.

There is little training available in clinical course curriculums for this mode of delivery of care.

As with any aspect of healthcare, without a solid grounding there can be serious risks to patient and practitioner if not adopted and adapted according to good practice recommendations.

An introductory guide for safe clinical practice of telemedicine for delivery of healthcare.
